Google made a few surprises in the past few months and since most people right now spend their time in front of their computers and gadgets, a lot of marketers noticed something that Google might be testing right now.
As you can see, the first blue link in SERP has a bigger font size compared with the next blue link. This is the same as the first advertisement.
It is pretty interesting because Google is trying to highlight the first link on SERP and the first Ad. It is telling the users that the first link and the first ad is exactly what they are looking for.
As of now, most marketers have no idea how it can affect CTR, but we should expect that this would have a huge impact once it is fully implemented.
